Steel Building Extension & Fit-Out
The project:
This project was delivered through our Steel Buildings division for one of our regular clients, Wet Wall Works. Following two previously successful projects with this client, we were invited to quote on an extension and fit out to provide, office, showroom and warehouse space at their flagship premises in Greenock.
When the original scope of works proved over budget, we worked with the client and designer to provide an alternative solution using cold-rolled steel technology, which delivered the required savings without compromising the design intent.
Our in-house team completed all preparatory works, including foundations and drainage while the steel frame was in manufacture. They were then able to mobilise immediately upon delivery of the frame and cladding to erect the building in a short time, before moving onto internal works and services. The final finish and fit out was also completed by our team, and all works were overseen by a full-time, dedicated Site Manager.
