Lochlie Construction has welcomed Professor John Anderson to its board as the family-run business prepares for its next phase of growth.
John is a specialist in entrepreneurship, governance and the growth of founder-led and family businesses. He brings more than 30 years’ experience working with the leaders of scaling companies as a Chartered Accountant, adviser, mentor, investor, business owner and Non-Executive Chair.
He is also a Visiting Professor of Practice at Strathclyde Business School and has helped develop and deliver programmes including the Growth Advantage Programme and Help to Grow: Management.
John will work alongside Managing Director Douglas Aitken and Lochlie’s wider leadership team to support strategic planning, strengthen governance and help ensure the company’s growth is sustainable and well managed.

Founded in 2014, Lochlie has grown into an experienced multi-trade principal contractor delivering construction, refurbishment, maintenance and renewable energy projects across West Central Scotland.
The company continues to invest in its people, leadership and digital capabilities as it targets larger and more technically demanding projects across the commercial, industrial, highly regulated and luxury residential markets.
