Earl Grey Street Conversion

This project was the conversion and refurbishment of a former bank building to provide serviced office suites in the Ayrshire town of Mauchline.

Our experienced team of in house tradesmen were overseen by a dedicated Site Manager for the duration of the project. The scope of works included a full strip out and reconfiguration of the building, and opening up a previously void space on the first floor. This created a total of 5 new units over two levels.

On the ground floor, the main banking hall became one large unit with its own kitchenette and meeting space, using the former vault as storage. The consultation room became a smaller multi-purpose unit, and an accessible WC was installed in the foyer area. Upstairs, we re-purposed the existing rooms to create a kitchen, WC and two small offices. The void attic space was opened up to create a large, light and airy unit. This has now been occupied as a studio by a local fashion accessory designer.

The end result is a suite of stylish offices which are now fully occupied and home to an eclectic range of local businesses!
