Sustainability in Action: Our ROCCO Net Zero Award 

Last Friday night was a night to remember! Our team had an incredible time at the ROCCO Awards 2024, and we’re thrilled to share some exciting news: we won the 2024 ROCCO Award for Journey to Net Zero, sponsored by Ren Zero at Renfrewshire Council! 🌍 

This award is a testament to our net zero efforts to date and signifies further recognition of our knowledge sharing programme. The journey so far has been exciting and, at times, challenging, but we are committed to sharing both the highs and lows with other businesses working toward a more sustainable future. 

Since moving into our refurbished carbon-neutral HQ in 2022, we focussed on optimising processes and reducing our carbon footprint. Along the way, we have encountered challenges and learned invaluable lessons, which we share to help other businesses accelerate their sustainability progress and avoid similar pitfalls. 

Over the past two years, we have hosted open house events, offering businesses the chance to explore our office space and hear about our sustainability motivations, progress, and plans. Our team is passionate about helping others succeed and proving that no matter the size of a company or where they are on their sustainability journey, striving for meaningful change is always possible. Looking forward, we will continue innovating and improving our sustainability efforts. We are participating in the Step Up to Net Zero programme, which aids businesses towards Glasgow’s goal of becoming net zero by 2030, while our new team member, Jude, is analysing our sustainable practices and looking for ways to further reduce carbon emissions. We will continue to share our progress as we all push towards a greener future.
