🚀 Welcome to Lochlie Construction Group’s Monthly Newsletter! 🏗️
As we reach the halfway mark of 2024, we’re excited to share the latest developments, achievements, and upcoming projects that continue to drive our commitment to excellence in construction and sustainability. This month has been particularly noteworthy as we celebrate milestones in several high-profile projects, growing our team and attending exciting industry events!
This month we were pleased with the The Scottish Government decision to eliminate the need for planning permission for rooftop solar PV installations over 50kWp. This change means that many commercial projects can now proceed without this additional hurdle! Additionally, we recently partnered with BNP Paribas to provide flexible financing options, making your switch to solar energy more affordable than ever.
We were delighted to announce this month that we are beginning work with another business in Hillington Park, Kooltech Ltd ! Our renewables team will be installing 159 photovoltaic (PV) solar panels on the roof of their headquarters, covering 410 square metres, forecasting to generate 86.66kW of electricity, meeting 30% of the client’s energy needs! Keep an eye on our socials for progress updates!

June was packed with events! Our Business Development Manager, Claire, attended Albion Environmental Ltd Pop Up Event, hosted in collaboration with Resource Management Association Scotland (RMAS). During the event, we had the opportunity to learn about Albion’s service offerings and enjoyed a delicious lunch. A big thank you to Albion for the wonderful hospitality! 🍴
Claire also discussed our recent project at Albion’s Ayr Head Office, where we installed a solar PV and battery system. She highlighted our complimentary modelling service, which helps businesses make informed decisions about implementing PV systems on their premises.
