Refurbishing Finnieston Clothing’s Southside Store
A Successful Partnership Continues
Lochlie Construction Group is proud to have once again partnered with Finnieston Clothing, a family-owned sustainable clothing brand based in Glasgow. We had the privilege of successfully delivering their first concept store in the West End in 2020. This time, our team was tasked with refurbishing their second store in the city’s Southside.
Scope of Works
The project involved a comprehensive overhaul of the shop unit, including:
- Structural repairs: Addressing rot, damp, and water damage.
- Electrical upgrades: Installing LED lighting, security systems, and fire alarms.
- Interior finishes: Plastering, joinery, plumbing, and painting.
- Exterior elements: Replacing the front door and roller shutter.
- Flooring: Laying new floor coverings throughout the store.
- Shop fittings: Installing custom-designed fixtures.
A Seamless Project
Our experienced Site Supervisor oversaw the project, ensuring it was completed on time and to the highest standards. The majority of the work was carried out by our in-house multi-trade team, with specialised services provided by trusted partners.
